ECOHABITA is a company specialized for many years in the rehabilitation, interior design and restoration of properties, carrying out comprehensive renovations, currently focused on the construction of sustainable homes and wooden cabins.

Our approach to rehabilitation has always been based on the preservation and recovery of original elements, such as hydraulic floors, "Catalan Volta" and using mostly materials such as wood, iron, stone or brick, incorporating restoration as the basis of the design.

We stand out for our participation in comprehensive projects, collaborating closely with our clients to design solutions that meet their individual needs and preferences.

We are proud to offer conservation, industrial and rural interior designs, always prioritizing the balance between design and comfort.

For years, we have focused our energy on building sustainable houses, creating environmentally friendly homes, we are very focused on building houses and cabins using innovative insulation materials and efficient technologies, such as the use of photovoltaic energy and investigation of new systems for fully insulated off grid cabins.

We like to work with different construction systems such as CLT, (always wood as the main protagonist) as light or heavy wooden frame structure.

We do not rule out working and learning from other construction systems.

Our presence mainly covers the Catalan territory, the Iberian Peninsula and the south of France.

We are passionate about passive houses, cabins and the constant search to minimize our environmental footprint, exploring new construction and design solutions.

At ECOHABITA, we have continuous learning as a fundamental pillar of our professional and business practice.

We are currently in the middle of researching modular wooden houses, which optimize the construction process and the impact on the environment.

Normally we design unique houses for each client, however we have already designed models designed to shorten the construction period and provide a quick and sustainable solution. This space is called ECOHABITA MODULAR with modules already designed, but with the possibility of customization.

In this Modules a lot of work has been done both in the design and in the economic sustainability of the projects, cutting costs through the design, optimizing the spaces to use the right materials and with quality finishes.
